holy shit guys whats, after a couple of nights at the hostel I had some new roomates from the Australian navy, We were both going to the U2 concert and decided to go at 12 noon to line up, went out for dinner the night before at the Melbourne university restuarant, the food was very nice comming in @ 15 $$ AUD anyways guys we waited put our time in and got into the Elipse I'm in melbourne now so can't load pic's but get ready HOLY SHIT !!! 70,000 people and i'm in 7 feet of the edge and Bono and Adam clayton, I get back to Sydney in a couple of days to start paddle training in the surf!, at that point i'll put up some U2 pic's, Get Ready the Davey Family, get a silver bullet on ice for you know who!!!.... dudes the fucking Elipes U2 10 ft from.. hahah madnesss, leave tomorow to St kilda for a couple of days,, we'll talk to you soon and god speed. Hollywood!!!

Today in Melbourne

we'll settled in nicely into my hostel, woke up after a good sleep and slid down to the queen victoria markets to see what the deal is, alot of people trying to sell some random stuff, went to the museum, that was actually pretty cool although i would have to say I like the layout of winnipeg museum a little bit better, when walking back to the spread I ran into a police road block when I asked the officer what was going on he replied " in the next couple of days there's going to be the G20 Summit meeting with the world leaders" I can only Imagine since Bono is in town he'll be creeping around in the summit with Adam Clayton That smooth prick. Concert 3 is comming up,,,,, Word!!!!

Landed in Melbourne!!!!

we'll it's colder than hoth here comming in @ a whoopping +8 although looks pretty cool, just arrived @ 3pm it's now 8:30. Roommate is some german chick, good for jupin, I need to start training like the double M's to get ready for the U2 show. The TYC love machien is staying within walking distance of telstra stadium. You know you think you have pupblic transport figured out then you land in a new city and you get fucked all over again, Trams..... Who has trams "ohh you can't sell me a ticket, where do I get one?.... Ohhh over there perfect... this hostel reminds me of a hotel of young kids,,, with all information Availible.. also we'll see if i can sneek pic's on this computer... i'm out

First U2 show goes off without a hitch!

First off i'd like to say that olympic park itself is a site to see, you can't really gauge how big it really is, further more telstra stadium is by far the largest stadium i've ever been in, makes Gm place in vancouver look like we'll lets just say my perception of big stadiums has changed.
I met Tim and Corey at central station from there we were to hop on a train and head to Homebush the suburb of which olympic park is, it's about a 25 min train ride , what I didn't know is that that transport is actually icluded in the price of the ticket. There were also private shuttle trains running every 15 min to the park. We walked out of the trainstation right to the pubs and got blind, after being in awe of everything we got to our seats, we missed kanye west but got in on some of the gnarliest mexican waves around, some of the people I talked to said that he didn't really fit the bill but he was good.
In there second encore the played the saints are comming which was a big suprise, the show ended with kite,,, all I have to say is this I wish this event was 75,000 mike daveys, willie's anth17's, the Conti family, ryhmer man sizing it, G morden trying to decide if he should fold those pocket 3's, Bass " the govenor and he's black",the double M's Manchur and Manny from shapes, Brigham to Beat anthony repeatedly over the head with the death shank, and of course Mgavich and the magavick family. Why do you ask I don't feel the crowd went off as much as they could have, but such is life there's always Mon night's concert where Seth, Goldie and I will be on the floor... all in all sweet show

We'll the first of my 3 U2 shows starts tomorrow I will be accompanied by Timmy D, very exciting ohh and I will be trying to smuggle my camera in,,, expect some pic's. Also huge news I caught my first wave today! paddled hard was in the right spot stood up and rode down the face and did a heelside carve, it's taken so long because I've been learning on a short board called a fish, easy to duck dive but in small waves you have to paddle like a CUNT! in big waves for now I just get munched!!!!!!!

Bernerd Fanning Concert!

On tue Seth and I got the opportunity to head over to the Horden pavilion in Fox Studio's right near Moore park to see Bernerd Fanning, Bernerd is the frontman for aussie super group Powderfinger. Bernerd took a year off of powderfinger and released a solo album aside from his band, It would be considered a little bit more mellow than powderfinger but stunningly brilliant. The cool thing about this show is that it's 2 days after the aria awards "Australia music awards" where he pick up a couple of awards "I believe one was album of the year" and the second last show on the tour.

As I look back and recall about 2 years ago when Powderfinger played Silverado's and it was $10 a ticket and a lot of my friends couldn't be asked to go, Now that's some funny shit. The concert was $68 AUD and was unreal, I'm taken back, when someone sings and you get goosebumps on your arm's it's magic, then you just want find some women and keep the magic going. Right before the concert ended he said " thanks for all the support over the past year, after this I go back to my real job" then busts into a led zepplin cover. Bravo Bernerd BRAVO!!!!!!!!

Ohhh ya and I'm standing up surfing now, baby steps, gold's rides the GP super polished banana he needs to put his purse down when he paddles though!!

P.S Willy you should see me throw it out there after awhile it becomes fun, you gotta go in gun's blazing.
